What You Need to Know:

The Power Plant is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The facility is not closed for weather events as its primary purpose is to create steam and electricity for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and for the sale of electricity to the local utility, Dominion Virginia Power.
