Public Comment Period
Guidelines
1.
All speakers will be required to pre-register,
stating in part, their name, address and
the topic to be addressed.
2. Speakers will be required
to speak only to the subject for which they
have registered.
3. Speakers will be encouraged,
but not required, to provide written comments
for the record, either before or at the
time of speaking.
4. A maximum of thirty
(30) minutes will be allotted for a public
comment period, unless that period is extended
by the Board of Directors. Each speaker
will be limited to five (5) minutes or a
lesser time as the Chairman determines necessary
to accommodate all speakers who have registered.
Public Hearing Guidelines
1.
All speakers will be encouraged, but are
not required, to pre-register. In any case,
at the beginning of any speaker's presentation
he shall state his name and full address.
2. Speakers will be required
to speak only to the subject of the public
hearing.
3. Speakers will be encouraged,
but are not required, to provide written
comments for the record, either before or
at the time of speaking.
4. Each speaker will be
limited to five (5) minutes. Multiple speakers
having the same position on a topic will
be encouraged to select one speaker to represent
their opinion.
