Mr. Randy R. Keaton is the County Administrator of Isle of Wight County. Mr. Keaton is a strong professional with significant experience in budget and finance, debt financing, development and management of inter-local agreements, regional collaboration, economic development, water and sewer system development and operation, solid waste management and planning.
Mr. Keaton’s professional experience includes over 38 years of public service in County government and regional planning. He served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission from 2013 to 2016. Mr. Keaton’s local government experience includes 26 years as the County Manager of Pasquotank County, North Carolina. Additionally, he previously served as County Manager and Finance Officer of Perquimans County, North Carolina. His public sector experience began as the Register of Deeds, Budget Officer, and Clerk to the Board of Camden County, North Carolina.
